| Director: | John Shearin | 1st of 3 set Repertory Season. All designs based off of craps tables. Portals created with MDF and steel tube with cut outs for lightboxes and backlit portions. Attachment points for other Rep show's facias. Flown scenery matches style of portals. Forced perspectives and curves presented several challenges. Custom created orchestra pit cover with trap for manhole cover. Sewer scene wagon tracked to merge with flown sewer pipes flat. Ladder opens DS from US wagon through flown flat unto stage. Special Jig's created to route MDF based on steel structures. Light boxes created to mount, remove for color changes; all while low profile to avoid obvious shadows. | |||
